as “QVC Handel GmbH” in Duesseldorf, Germany, since 1996. QVC means
Quality, Value, Convenience characterizing the high demands of Joseph
Segel, founder of the Company. QVC started to expand in 1993, first in
Great Britain, since December 1, 1996 in Germany an April 1, 2001 in
Japan, QVC live since October 1, 2003.

On October 16, 1995 the first shopping station in Germany started his
program under the name of HOME ORDER TELEVISION, briefly H.O.T. Today
the viewers turn on HSE24 where they can stay for 24 hours in a manifold
coloured shopping world if they want-but, as a matter of fact, 16 hours
live a day, only.

RTL Shop, started as the third shopping station (following HSE24 and QVC),
belongs to the RTL group. Telecasting around the clock – 16 hours live.
Until September, 2006 production in Cologne, since October, 2006 new
Broadcasting Center with administration and TV studios in Hannover.

1-2-3 TV is an interactive shopping station from Unterfoehring since
October 1, 2004. Articles are mostly sold along the principle of an
auction. After once having been registered, viewers are able to bid by
phone – and since 2005 by Internet.
